Process Mapping and Improvement
All workplaces perform routine work of one sort or another. Often, this
work is conducted in a step-by-step manner that has been developed over the
years from incremental changes to ‘the way it has always been done’. We
frequently encounter routine work (or processes) being conducted
inefficiently or inconsistently in a variety of workplaces. Often, there is
little effort being made to eliminate recurring errors, reduce waste or
cost, or improving service.
