The ChangeWorks team has significant experience using
organisational surveys as a basis for complex organisational
change, commencing with interpreting the survey results,
building a picture of the performance gaps and the
strategies needed to address these gaps.
ISR employee surveys
ChangeWorks has formed a strategic partnership with
International Survey Research (ISR) to enable global advice
and local knowledge to come together. ISR is one of the
world's leading global employee research firms, specialising
in the design and implementation of tailored surveys to
create high performance cultures. Since their foundation in
1974, ISR has surveyed over 35 million employees from more
than 2,100 companies in 106 countries. Employee surveys
comprise more than 95% of ISR's business, undertaking
approximately 300 company-sponsored surveys annually,
covering two to three million employees.
User-friendly
ISR has extensive experience delivering user-friendly and
easy-to-action survey data for large-scale clients. ISR's
capacity to conduct large-scale surveys is reflected in
their experience in conducting projects for large
organisations around the world, including General Motors,
Toyota, Lucent Technologies, Unilever and Phillips.
Adaptable Benchmarks
In designing your survey, we would work with you to draw
on our database of over 500 benchmark questions. This will
allow your organisation to have a tailored survey while
retaining the ability to benchmark against country, industry
and global benchmarks. Our client surveys typically contain
80-90% benchmark questions. We would also work with you to
write tailored questions where the need arises (e.g., to
measure specific organisation values).
In addition, each survey framework can be adapted to
reflect existing leadership or competency frameworks in your
organisation, while retaining the ability to benchmark
against high performing organisations, FMCG organisations
and national benchmarks. Such benchmark comparisons are
important to allow performance to be understood, realistic
goals for change established, and performance monitored over
time.

gathered for you to determine the culture that will best
support this: The first is based on ISR's research into high
performing organisations; the second brings the internal
intelligence your organisation has about its strategic
priorities and cultural issues but may require assistance in
quantifying and harnessing. These two sources of data
provide the basis for determining the culture that will
enable your strategy to be successfully executed.
